His:
Danny's wedding band is a custom, handmade band in progress that he's making himself. It's a 1924 silver dollar that's been in Lilly's family for years, most recently inherited from her dad. Back then, silver dollars were made out of nearly jewelry-grade silver (90%), which means it's somewhat malleable. He's been hammering away at it, and it's getting close! Check out the pictures, side-by-side with another coin to show how much it's changed shape.
Hers:
Lilly's rings were a gracious gift from Patricia McKeegan, Danny's grandma. It's the second time they'll be used to marry their owner to a Danny McKeegan, so they're extra special. Owning and wearing them reminds Danny and Lilly not only of their engagement but also of the memory of Danny's grandpa, the "original" Danny McKeegan. When giving them away, Patricia told Lilly, "I was deeply in love with my Danny every day that I wore those rings, and I hope you will be too."
